Layne is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of LD Productions, a film and photo production company based in Boulder, Colorado, that promotes regenerative agriculture, land and water conservation, and biodiversity. At LD Productions, he is the lead of Post-production, specializing in video editing, color grading, and animation.


As an award-winning editor with over a decade of experience in the film industry, Layne's films and photographs have been featured in numerous publications including Bioneers, the Santa Barbara Independent, and EarthxTV. He has filmed and edited a five-hour real-time documentary starring Buck Brannaman and currently serves as the lead editor for the ongoing Buck Channel. Layne’s experience includes work on Hollywood film sets for clients such as Ford, Ralph Lauren, and Planes, Trains, and Automobiles.

Having grown up on his family’s cattle ranch as it transitioned from conventional to regenerative practices, Layne developed a deep appreciation for land stewardship and the western way of life. Witnessing the transformation firsthand gave him a strong connection to regenerative agriculture, inspiring him to use film as a way to share stories of renewal and resilience through LD Productions.

Dylan is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of LD Productions, a film and photo production company based in Boulder, Colorado, that promotes regenerative agriculture, land and water conservation, and biodiversity. At LD Productions, she is the lead Director of Photography, Sound Designer, FAA-Certified Drone Pilot, and Marketing Manager.

She was second director of photography for a Kiss the Ground film featuring Chamberlin Ranch in Los Olivos, California, and for a Kiss the Ground short documentary about Good Culture, a regenerative cottage-cheese company. In these projects she worked with director and producer Kate Oliva and cinematographer Guido Lois.

Growing up on ranches, Dylan gained firsthand insight into the intricacies of Western ranching. Trained by vaquero Andy Camacho, she understands ranch life from the inside. She has deepened her knowledge of regenerative agriculture and sustainability through coursework at Montana State University with Roland Kroos, Lora Soderquist, and Heather Higinbothom Davies, and through independent study of Allan Savory and Gabe Brown.
