Cachuma Resource Conservation District

Layne Chamberlin with LD Productions, filmed and edited an educational film for the Cachuma Resource Conservation District (CRCD), regarding their project of spreading compost on rangelands at Ted Chamberlin Ranch.

In the film, members from the CRCD, Community Environmental Council, University of California Santa Barbara, UC Cooperative Extension, and more, research and study the effects of spreading different amounts of compost on grazing rangeland. The three year project aimed to increase soil organic matter, water infiltration, and forage production.
